Forklift Operator

We are looking for an experienced forklift operator (8K + LB) to move building materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces, and in the yard. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials from incoming deliveries and stack them to assigned places

• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage and customer pick up

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance

• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs

• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Skills

•​ High school diploma or equivalent working experience

•​ Proven experience as forklift operator with medium to large forklifts (3+ years)

•​ Valid certification to operate forklifts

•​ Excellent physical condition and coordination

•​ Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 LBS

•​ Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment

•​ Diligent attention to safety

•​ Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills

•​ Team lead or previous warehouse experience

•​ Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
