DOT Delivery Driver
(NON-CDL)

We are looking for an experienced Jon-CDL driver with a good, clean driving record. You will be operating a DOT truck with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around the city picking up and dropping off building supply materials. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve customer satisfaction.

We are seeking an employee with a good work ethic, a great attitude, a team player mentality, and who is eager to grow in this business with us.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to local locations

 

• Pick up material from local vendors

 

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of building materials and safe driving procedures

 

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

 

• Maintain Driver's logs of all delivery paperwork with appropriate signatures

 

• Comply with company policies, legal guidelines, and all necessary DOT paperwork

 

• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment on the road

 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Skills

​ High school diploma or equivalent working experience

 

​ Valid driver's license Clean driving record and no DUI in the last 7 years (background & MVR required)

 

​ Proven experience in a driving position (3+ years)

 

​ Attention to detail and familiarity with DOT regulations

 

​ Ability to pass a DOT physical

 

​ Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 LBS

 

​ Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills

 

​ 21+ years of age
